What does X-CONNECT do?
X-CONNECT builds the digital layer of a physical experience. That includes registration and guest management, access control, apps, venue networks and the integration between them. The aim is that visitors move through without friction and that the team running the experience can see the state of every system as it happens.
How does it work with the other divisions?
X-CONNECT links the experiences made by X-PLAY, X-IMMERSIVE and X-LIVE to the registration, access and app layer around them. It supplies X-INTELLIGENCE with the data those systems generate, within the privacy terms agreed with the client. The team that connects the systems is the same team that monitors them during the run.
What do you receive?
A connected, tested set of systems: registration, access, apps and networks working together in the venue. You receive the system architecture, the interface specifications, the monitoring set-up and an operating guide that the on-site team can follow. For each system, the handover names who is responsible, what to check and who responds when it fails.
What is a digital ecosystem in an event?
It is the set of connected systems around the physical experience: registration, access, apps, screens, networks and data. In a digital ecosystem these parts share information instead of working separately. X-CONNECT designs and operates that layer so it supports the experience without competing with it.
Does X-CONNECT replace an existing registration or app supplier?
Not necessarily. X-CONNECT can integrate with the suppliers and platforms a client already uses, or provide a layer where none exists. The test is whether the systems work together on the day. Where a supplier is staying, X-CONNECT agrees the interfaces and the responsibilities with them in advance.
How does X-CONNECT handle connectivity in a busy venue?
Networks are planned for the real load: many devices in one place at one time. X-CONNECT surveys the venue and specifies coverage and capacity, then tests under realistic conditions before opening. During the run, the network and the connected systems are monitored, and a named responder acts when something drops.
