X-AI
Artificial intelligence experiences
Concept · AIX-AI is the XSEDES division for artificial intelligence experiences. It builds AI that people use in the room: generation, recognition and conversation, designed to run reliably. Every model is tested in the real setting, with limits, fallbacks and a named owner, so the experience still works if the AI does not behave.

What does X-AI do?
X-AI builds experiences in which people use artificial intelligence directly. People can generate media or talk with a character, by gesture or by voice. The models are chosen for the setting, then wrapped with limits, filters and fallbacks. The aim is an AI experience that is useful in the room, behaves as agreed and keeps working for the whole run.
How does it work with the other divisions?
X-AI starts with X-LAB, which tests whether a model behaves well enough for a public room. The engineers then turn that result into a reliable system, and X-STUDIO shapes how visitors meet it. X-AI connects to X-PLAY for interaction and to X-INTELLIGENCE for measurement. It is operated like any other system: monitored, maintained and owned by a named person.
What do you receive?
A tested AI system running in place, with its limits and fallbacks in force. The documentation covers which models are used and what they may produce, how data is handled, how the system is monitored and how it is switched to a safe mode. The on-site team receives training on that safe mode and on who to call.
What does an AI experience mean in a physical space?
It means visitors interact with AI directly in the room. They might generate an image, trigger a response with a gesture or hold a conversation with a character. X-AI designs these so they respond quickly, behave within agreed limits and have a fallback when the AI cannot answer.
How is an AI experience kept safe and reliable?
Through limits set before launch. X-AI defines what the system may and may not produce, tests it against difficult inputs and adds filters and fallbacks. During the run it is monitored, and a named person can switch it to a safe mode. Reliability is part of the specification, not an afterthought.
What happens to the data an AI experience collects?
That is agreed before the build. X-AI states what is captured, why, where it is processed and how long it is kept. It designs the experience around those terms. Visitors are told plainly what is happening. Data handling is documented in the handover so the client can show how it works.
