What we take on
We take on the technology and environments inside a venue: immersive spaces, interactive installations, connected systems and the physical structures that hold them. We respect the building, including its access, its hours, its power and its staff. We also take on the operation: monitoring, maintenance, training and support. The venue gets an experience that keeps working, not a system that is handed over and forgotten.
How we work with you
Work moves through seven stages: discover, design, engineer, fabricate, integrate, commission and operate. One team stays throughout. In discovery we learn the building, its hours, its staff and its constraints, because an experience that disrupts the venue will not last. Commissioning happens in place and at full size, and operation is agreed before opening, with a named responder for each system.
What stays yours
The venue keeps its building, its audience and its programme. The concept and the intellectual property position are as agreed in the contract. The venue also keeps the knowledge: drawings, system descriptions, operating guides and maintenance records. With them, its team can run, repair or extend the experience, or bring in another supplier, without starting again. Nothing the venue needs to run the experience is held back.

Longevity, safety, documentation and procurement clarity.
For institutions, XSEDES delivers experiences built to last, with safety and documentation treated as part of the work. Specifications, drawings and maintenance records are complete and clear, which supports procurement and long-term care. The institution knows what it is buying, what it must look after and who is responsible for each part.
What does it mean for an experience to run every day?
It means the technology is specified for daily use: components chosen for duty, maintenance planned in and a clear process for faults. Daily use also means daily wear, which the engineers and fabricators plan for. The measure is not how it looks on opening day, but whether it still works as intended long afterwards.
Who maintains the technology once the venue is open?
XSEDES can, under an agreed operating scope, or the venue's own team can, with training and documentation from XSEDES. Either way, monitoring, preventive maintenance and fault response are written down before opening, with names against each one. The venue is never left with systems that no one is responsible for.
Can XSEDES work with the venue's existing technical team and suppliers?
Yes. A venue's own staff and suppliers know the building. XSEDES surveys the site with them and agrees interfaces and responsibilities in writing. It builds around what is already in place. Where something should be replaced, we say so and say why, and the venue decides.
