Privacy Policy
XSEDES Private Limited collects only what we need to respond to enquiries and operate this site: the details you send through the brief form, analytics about how pages are used, and, only if you allow it, measurement of our adverts. We do not sell personal data. For access, correction or deletion requests, email hello@xsedes.com. A counsel-reviewed full policy will replace this notice.
Your brief
When you send a brief, we receive your name, organisation, role, email address, the brief and its timing, the page you sent it from and the country of your connection. We store it in a database run for us by Cloudflare and email it to our team through Resend. We use it only to answer you and to discuss the project.
If you allowed analytics, the brief also records how you reached the site during that visit: the first page you opened, the site that sent you and any campaign tags in the link. Without that choice, none of this is kept.
To stop automated abuse, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the form is sent by a person, and we count briefs from each connection for one hour. We keep a brief while we discuss or work on the project with you, and delete it when you ask us to.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google, to learn which pages are read, how visitors find us and how quickly pages load. On the main pages of www.xsedes.com we also use Microsoft Clarity, a service provided by Microsoft, to see how pages are used through heatmaps and recordings of visits. Clarity is set to hide what you type into form fields. Both process data on our behalf and may do so outside your country.
Nothing is stored on your device until you accept analytics. Before that, Google Analytics receives page visits without cookies (Google Consent Mode). If you accept, Google Analytics sets _ga, which tells visits apart, and _ga_VLGLGX4EWY, which keeps the state of a visit; by default Google keeps them for up to two years. Clarity sets _clck, kept for up to a year, and _clsk, which joins the pages of one visit and lasts a day.
If you accept analytics and send a brief, our server tells Google Analytics that a brief was sent, linked to your visit. It does not send your name or email address.
Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page visits for us without cookies and without storing anything on your device, so it runs whatever you choose.
Marketing
On the main pages of www.xsedes.com we ask a second question: whether we may measure our adverts. If you allow it, the Meta Pixel, a service provided by Meta Platforms, records which pages you visit and whether you send a brief, so that we can measure our Facebook and Instagram adverts and show them to people who have visited. It sets _fbp, kept for up to 90 days, and _fbc if you arrived from a Meta advert. The LinkedIn Insight Tag, a service provided by LinkedIn, does the same for our LinkedIn adverts and shows us the professional background of visitors in aggregate; it sets li_fat_id on xsedes.com, kept for up to 30 days, and LinkedIn's own cookies on linkedin.com. Google's advertising signals are switched on as well, and Google may set _gcl_au.
If you allow marketing and send a brief, our server also tells Meta, sending your email address only in hashed form (a one-way code) so that Meta can match it to an account. If you do not allow marketing, nothing is sent to Meta and advertising storage stays switched off.
Your choices
Your choices are kept in your browser. The analytics choice applies across www.xsedes.com; the marketing choice is asked on the main pages, where the marketing tags run. Change either at any time under Cookie settings. Declining, now or later, deletes the cookies of that category.
