Static mannequins are a fixed cost that does nothing after installation. They don't draw the eye twice. They don't signal that a store is investing in anything beyond the garment on the rack.
Retailers have started to solve this with basic rotating platforms or pre-programmed lighting — but the mannequin itself has stayed exactly as it was a century ago: a still object that clothes hang on.

Each unit is built on the same motion-control and kinetic engineering discipline XSEDES already applies across its venture line, adapted specifically for the load, safety, and duty-cycle requirements of a retail floor or storefront window running for extended hours, every day, unattended.
